Become A Mitchell's Miracles Fundraiser
Organising your own fundraiser to support Mitchell's Miracles will give you such an overwhelming sense of achievement, in knowing you have given support to one of our many families that urgently need support whilst their child is receiving hospital care for Neuroblastoma.
You don't need to have experience in hosting an event or to raise funds for our charity. We can help you with ideas and supply you with posters, leaflets, charity tins and banners.
If you choose to organise your own fundraiser, please let us know your ideas and we can discuss this further to ensure that the event is a complete success.

Have you ever thought about ticking off Tough Mudder from your bucket list?
This year there are a few challenge options so whether you're a team of athletes looking to set a new record or a group of friends who want to try something new- it's time to get training.
If you're just warming up then check out the 5 km option, crammed with 13 obstacles, these events are perfect for first time Mudder runners. If you're feeling brave choose the Tough Mudder Classic- 8-10 miles of team work, challenge and a lot of mud. With no podiums, winners, or clocks to race against, it's not about how fast you can cross the finish line. It's a challenge that focuses on teamwork, camaraderie and accomplishing something almost as tough as you are.and if that's not enough for you, this year there is a competitive course, it's exactly the same except you'll be timed as a team competing for Mudder glory!

LONDON TO BRIGHTON CYCLE RIDE

The Do it for Charity London to Brighton Cycle Ride is a mass-participation cycle ride covering the 54 miles from south London to Madeira Drive on Brighton sea front.
Taking place on Sunday 15th September 2019.
All you need to do to take part is raise a minimum of £150 for Mitchell's Miracles and pay a registration fee of £45.00
Free buffet lunch
This takes place at 30 miles in the picturesque village of Turners Hill. You can eat as much as you like from our delicious pastas to our ever popular Carrot Cake.
Free water stops
There will be water stops located frequently along the route, at mile 10, mile 17, at the lunch point at mile 30 and at the top of the infamous Ditching Beacon at mile 45.
Full mechanical support
Mechanics will be based at all rest stops to assist you with any mechanical issues, but if you’re unlucky enough to experience difficulties in between those points we also have roaming mechanics too – just give us a call!
Fully signed route
No need to be looking at your map – our route is fully sign-posted so that you can keep your eyes on the road and enjoy the wonderful surrounding countryside!

Bike and Coach transport back to London
Bike and coach transport will be available back from Brighton to south London at an extra cost of £30 which can be booked upon registering or prior to the event.
Your bicycle will be securely transported back to the start point in south London where it will be returned to you upon arrival.
Local train services in Brighton will only permit a limited amount of bikes so we strongly advise you arrange to be picked up from Brighton or book our bike and coach transport (subject to availability).
Highly popular event Facebook page
Meet fellow cyclists ahead of the trip and if you’re on your own you will probably find other solo cyclists to cycle with! Our Facebook page is also a great place to gets lots of tips and advice on the ride from more experienced cyclists

LONDON TO PARIS BIKE RIDE
18th to 22nd September 2019
Have you ever wanted to tick off your bucket list a bike ride from London to Paris?
Look no further........
Entry fee is £125.00 and you will need to raise a minimum of £1600.00 for Mitchell's Miracles
We are not listed on The Do It For Charity website, but you can still take part in this challenge for our cause.

As the largest organisers of London to Paris and London to Amsterdam cycle rides all our rides are fully inclusive of everything you need!
Here is the schedule:
Accommodation in 2 to 3 star hotels
Ferry from Dover to Calais on Day 1 – and Euro star back to London at the end of your cycle ride
Breakfast every day in your hotel
Lunches on every cycling day
Dinner on every cycling day other than day 1 on the ferry (we recommend the Fish and Chips!)

SOUTHEND COLOURTHON MOONLIGHT WALK

The Southend Colourthon Moonlight Walk is one of the top fundraising community events in Essex!
This year will be the 13th year; unlucky for some but we believe it could be even better than 2018!
A 10k and half marathon FUN walk around Southend by night… with a difference!
Both walks kick off at 6pm (just as the sun is setting) on Saturday 6th July 2019, and those walking are encouraged to dress as brightly as their imaginations will allow! As organisers, we think we have seen it all… but there are charity spot prizes for those who impress us with their costumes!
Besides the obvious fun of dressing up, when you are out on the course, it highlights to the public the many worthy causes represented by our walkers in full and spectacular colour!
With either 10K or 13.1 miles to cover, the walks take in all the sights, sounds and smells of the seaside by night. The stewarding team will keep you safe and cheer you on, all the way back to our amazing night time finish line party! Make the most of returning and get your friends and family to join you for a celebration at the end of walk.

HAVERING HALF MARATHON

Havering Mind Half Marathon
The Havering Half marathon will take place on Sunday 6th October 2019, the first Half marathon to take place in Havering in nearly 25 years!
Organised by local mental health charity Havering Mind, all money raised through entry will contribute to their efforts to support local people in the community who may be experiencing difficulty with their mental wellbeing.
But if you would like to support Mitchell's Miracles Charity, then you can set yourself a target amount that you would like to raise, and donate it to support our families affected by Neuroblastoma childhood cancer.
How will Mitchell's Miracles Support you?
1.We will send you a charity T-Shirt for training
2. We will send you a Charity branded running vest with your name printed
3, We will help you set up your fundraising page via VirginMoneyGiving.
4. We will send you a fundraising pack
When: Sunday 6th October 2019 at 09:30.
Where: Harrow Lodge Park, Hornchurch. RM12 4PL.
Pricing: £30 Unaffiliated, £28 Affiliated.
Entry on the Day: Entry on the day will not be available at this race.
Age Requirements: Participants must be aged 17 or over on the day of the race.
Registration: From 08:00 to 09:15.
Race Numbers: For collection at registration on the day only, numbers will not be posted. To be fastened to the front of your top using safety pins provided at registration, your number should be visible at all times. Your timing chip is attached to the back of your number and should not be removed.
Route: The route exits Harrow Lodge Park onto Hornchurch Road and Abbs Cross Lane where it continues into Hornchurch Country Park. Exiting the park into Berwick Pond Road, the route continues through the Upminster Lanes, taking in Hornchurch Stadium and the Ingrebourne Valley before returning to finish in Harrow Lodge Park.
Licensing: This race is expected to be licensed with UK Athletics, subject to approval, and the results submitted to Run Britain within a week of the race.
Pacers: Pacers will not be offered at this race.
Bag Drop: Whilst we recommend bringing as little as possible, you can leave your belongings with us at the Event village inside Harrow Lodge Park while you race using the tear-off baggage strip on your race number, collecting after you finish by presenting your race number. The bag drop will be attended at all times by our volunteers. Items are left at your own risk.
Toilets: Toilets will be available in the event village in addition to portable toilets along the route.
Race Marshals: Marshals will be present on the course throughout the race.
Distance Markers: The route will be clearly indicated with arrows, tape and Mile markers where necessary.
Water Stations: There will be water stations at regular intervals on the route and at the finish.
Results: Results will be uploaded live to our website (internet connection permitting) and communicated to all pre-registered participants within 24 hours of the event.
Medals: All finishers will receive a medal on completing the race.
Prizes: Prizes will be awarded to the top three runners overall for both males and females. Where possible, we will endeavor to present individual race prizes as soon as validated on the day.
OPEN WELSH THREE PEAKS
Various dates available
Each year there are several Open Welsh Three Peaks events. These are open to all, and don't require a group to book.
Anyone can optionally raise money for any charity without a minimum fundraising obligation.
These organised events mountain leaders to guide you, transport from Chester, throughout the challenge and to Cardiff afterwards, and food and drink throughout.
