Could you help Mitchell’s Miracles survive the Covid-19 Pandemic ?
The Covid-19 pandemic is already having a detrimental affect on our small charity, because most, or if not all of our community fundraising events have been cancelled for the foreseeable future.
Last year we supported over half of the families affected by Neuroblastoma, with a financial grant, when they were referred to us from our beneficiaries, Clic Sargent.
Children with Neuroblastoma childhood cancer, are in an extremely high risk category during this coronavirus pandemic, with their weakened immune system, making them very vulnerable as you can appreciate.
We are doing the best we can, to survive the Covid-19 affects through this lockdown time. Our support is still available to all the families needing us through these very difficult uncertain times.
An example of how the pandemic is affecting families in lockdown !!
Here is little George…
We were contacted by a family to a beautiful little boy called George, who has stage 4 Neuroblastoma. With the current situation of the Corona Virus, George’s immune system is vulnerable and the family are having to self isolate for 12 weeks, along with their other two children at home. Her partner is having to move out of the family home to his parents so he can continue to work, as they cannot survive off of the sick pay being given from our government.
With your support, we were able to give a grant to this family.
