WOW what a weekend we have had, our #knickerstoNeuroblastoma campaign went fantastic. It started on Saturday 25th August which was the 6 year anniversary of Mitchell’s passing. Instead of being a sad day, Kristel came up with the idea of #knickerstoneuroblastoma day and what better day than Mitchell’s anniversary.

Lots of our supportors wore there Knickers and posted their pictures over social media.  We set up the gazebo ready for the Havering Town Show wearing our knickers and then went for a casual stroll down Hornchurch high street, we was getting some funny looks which was just what we wanted as it was all about raising awareness. We even wore them down to Maldon where we met some friends for dinner, again funny looks but that’s what it was all about.

Starting with Mitchell’s Mummy & Daddy here is a selection on our #knickerstoneuroblastoma campaign.

Havering Town Show 2018

We had a stall at the Havering Town Show Sunday 26th and Monday 27th August. We held a tombola and lucky dip at our stall. Sunday was a bit of a washout but that didn’t stop us. We had a big crowd around our gazebo at 2 pm as two brave ladies Susan and Lorraine had their heads shaved. They raised a fantastic amount for doing this challenge and it was very emotional to watch. Susan then went on to donate her hair to little Princess trust .

Thank you to Millie from Hair @ Lounge 27 for taking time out from her day to come along and do the head shave.

Susan, Millie & Lorraine

How amazing do these ladies look

We returned on Bank holiday Monday where the weather was kinder to us. We had a steady flow of supporters all day at the stall, winning on tombola and coming back for more. We love being out in the community and talking with people. Telling the public all about what we do is just as important as raising funds. We met lots of people and everyone loves to stop for a chat.

We raised £250.96 over the weekend with our lucky dip and tombola.
