Mitchell’s Masters was another great success.
We held our second annual golfing event on Friday 19th July at Top Meadow Golf Course, organised by the lovely Norman.
We had 60 golfers complete the 18 holes despite the non stop rain.
The day started off with a lovely breakfast, where we handed out hospitality bags of goodies, and met all the golfers.
They set of at 10:00am and finished around 4:30pm.
It wasn’t just men who played we had the ladies join us for the second year running.
The day finished with a delicious 3 course dinner, where we had the presentation, raffle and auction.
This amazing day raised £2000.00 for Mitchell’s Miracles.
We would like to say a very big thank you to Norman for organising this fundraiser, we know how much hard work he puts into making the day successful.
Thank you to Darren Jones from UK Energy Management for sponsoring the golf caps that each player received.
Thank you to Tony Levoi of Vauxhall Motors for the donation of £200.00 and bringing in a car for the day.
Thank you to SMS Scaffolding for a donation of £100.00.
Thank you to Top Meadow golf who let us host our annual event at their beautiful club and their kind donations to the raffle and auction.Thank you to the staff who do a wonderful job.
Finally a very big thank you to all the golfers who came together to support our society day, all the members at La Sallette social club for joining us.
We hope to see you all again in 2020.

Over recent months, there has been a spate of burglaries in and around the local area, and as well as the small businesses that have been affected, there’s two local children cancer charities that have lost money too. Their charity collection boxes have been stolen on multiple occasions, a disgusting crime, that should offend everyone.
SO, the guys at the Urban Ink Tattoo Studio in Brentwood have decided to restore faith in humanity, by bringing together people that want to both, get a tattoo, support these great causes and show that people can be awesome.
